Started in 1989 this is a biennial conference held at a major motor museum, each year in a different part of the world, and is for anyone who works in motor museums or has connections with, or an interest in, such museums. It is a unique gathering and is able to put a global perspective on all aspects of operating such museums and helping with problems both curatorial and commercial, which affect them. Conferences have been held at: The National Motor Museum, Beaulieu, U.K. Copies of the proceedings of the 2001 World Forum for Motor Museums on CD are now available from Andy Lane (address below) price £5 each including postage. Overseas postage extra. Full details of World Forum and the next conference available from the Secretariat, Andy Lane, Director, National Motor Museum, Beaulieu, Hampshire, S042 7ZN, Tel: 01590 614658, Fax: 01590 612655, e-mail: andy.lane@beaulieu.co.uk |
