Vehicles eligible to take part were those that were built before January 1st 1954. Many of them had been meticulously maintained, and looked as good as the day they were bought. Some were lavishly restored - with great attention to detail, and no expenses spared. Two of the oldest cars were built in 1904.

VCCA Icicle Run - Melbourne to Seymour - 31 Jul 2004
The Veteran Car Club of Australia (Victoria) held its annual midwinter "Icicle Tour" on the weekend of July 17 -- 18, 2004. The tour went From Bumdoora (Outer Melbourne) to the country town of Seymour, travelling via Broadford and Wandong.
One - Two - Three for Suzuki in Turkey - 28 Jun 2004 Suzuki was in full celebration mode at the recent round of the Junior World Rally Championship, with driver P-G Andersson claiming his first victory at the treacherous Turkish event.
It was Suzuki, one – two- three on the podium with Kosti Katajamaki and Guy Wilks giving a superb effort to finish second and third respectively.
