1928 Willys Overland
Crossley Manchester Special 'The Monster' powered by 1950s
27 litre Rolls-Royce Meteor B V12 Centurion tank engine with a
Wilson pre-selector gearbox. The car has been finished this year,
so despite its vintage origin and looks, it's a brand new creation
in its current form. Even without a benefit of a test-drive, one
could easily imagine the amount of torque that this "Monster"
is capable of. Similar vehicles with aero engines exist and some
of tham are raced in VSCC meetings. According to their owners,
the experience of driving one is "something else"
