1931/6 Alvis Silver Eagle Special

This car was auctioned in March by Coys at the same location with an estimate between GBP 35,000 and 45,000. it achieved GBP 38,000 (click here for the previous pictures). This time, it appeared painted black, recent work done to it amounting to almost GBP 15,000. It included inspection and overhaul of suspension and brakes, the fitment of a new fuel tank bodywork tidying up, a complete repaint and new set of Dunlop racing tyres. It is offered in excellent condition.

In 1989 the body was refurbished, carpets replaced and engine rebuilt by Harry Mandalari - marque specialist. Recently prepared to compete in London to Jerusalem Rally with addition of a special 10 gallon fuel tank, Corbeau seats and twin piston front brake calipers conversion.

3 litre V8 mid-engined car with tubular chassis and body designed by Bertone - the cheapeast way into Ferrari ownership. A lot of work went into the car in the late eighties. Mechanically in good condition and with expansively re-upholstered interior.

Completely rebuilt from remains found in a scrapyard in the 60s. It was authenticated by the VSCC and issued a chassis number by a Bugatti Owners Club.

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado

Chassis: 396876M519341
America's first front wheel drive production car. The engine was 7.0 litre 385bhp V8 and the performance as impressive as the power output. In the early 1990s it was restored mechanically including a comprehensive engine rebuild and conversion to unleaded.

1969 Fiat Giannini 500 TV

Giannini version of the popular Fiat 500. Found in the small Italian town of Monte Catini and brought into the UK with only 61,000km on the clock. Described as excellent and original and with only three owners from new.

1982 Porsche 930 Turbo Competition Car

Well known participant in BRDC series, the Porsche Ferrari Challenge and the Intermaque Championships in the 1990s. 3.4 litre engine with Group B style dual ignition and intercoolers, a K27/29 turbo, 935 clutch and Group B Billstein suspension with OZ wheels. The vendor has spent in the region of GBP 25,000 improving the car and rebuilding the engine recently.
